Below the garden and across Simon’s Town Road, Jaeger’s Walk runs along the shore to the beach at Fish Hoek. You can swim, watch the “trek” or seine [traditional] fishermen, shop and eat out in town. Nearby, Simon’s Town and Kalk Bay present their own unique charms. We are ideally located to visit the Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach; the Cape Point Nature Reserve and are within 1 hour of Cape Town International Airport.
Behind the Manor is a hiking trail up to Elsie’s Peak, which provides exercise and spectacular photographic opportunities. And for the enterprising, use the metro rail service for trips into Cape Town.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Extremely comfortable room and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely tasty breakfast choices available. Ideally placed to explore the local area. Thanks, I had a brilliant stay!

The views are to die for and if you come at the right season you just may spot some whales as we did. The ladies made our stay even better with their knowledge of the area and we managed to explore even the surrounding areas too.

We stayed in “Olokun” (Room 3) which has an enormous window offering wonderful views of False Bay. The room is spacious with a nice sitting area. It is well equipped for tea/coffee making. The fridge is cleverly stored in a cupboard, so you are not disturbed by it turning on and off during the night.
Breakfasts were delicious and varied and set us up for the day.
Our car was safely parked on the property behind an automatic gate. A luggage lift makes the job of getting the suitcases upstairs easy.
Margaret Anne, together with her experienced and friendly team, ensures that everything runs smoothly.
We unreservedly recommend Sunny Cove Manor and look forward to our next visit.

Over one road onto the promenade towards the swimming beach. Perfect for walking, for swimming, and surrounded by breath-taking views. A garden for reading, or a comfy lounge well equipped with books for the surprise rainy day. My room had amazing views of False Bay. As a huge bonus the room was equipped with ground coffee for an early morning treat, fresh milk, and it was replenished as required. Housekeeping staff do an awesome job there was nothing that could be cleaner or neater.
